2 Communication Technology Overview

2.1 GSM

3 System basic structure

Taking the GSM network as the transmission platform for remote signals and the short message as the carrier for transmitting data, a mobile shopping system based on the GSM module is constructed, including a hardware platform and a software platform.

3.1 Hardware platform

The hardware is composed of three parts: system operating platform (computer), short message receiving / sending device (short message cat) and mobile communication terminal (mobile phone). The computer is connected to the SMS modem (GSM Modem) through the RS 232 serial line to control its data transmission and reception, and realize transaction monitoring.
