According to Reuters, Alibaba is developing a new payment method that allows shoppers to wear virtual reality head-ups without having to take off their heads. The payment system is called "VR Pay", and the shopper can only complete the shopping by looking and nodding at the virtual shopping mall. The system was developed by Alibaba’s Ant Financial.
The person in charge of the project said: "It's too annoying to take your head off to make the payment. With it (VR pay) you don't have to remove your phone anymore."
By making nod of items on virtual shelves, you can buy this way, it seems that you will buy more unnecessary things. In addition, VR Pay also needs to address other payment process issues, including authentication, account password entry, and more. Of course, these can be tried with touchpads, head movements or gazes.
Alibaba’s VR Pay is not the first attempt to solve the payment problem in the VR environment. In the past two years, Xiao Bian has reported many similar innovative payments, including MasterCard.
