The reason why the leakage switch often trips

In the family, many friends have encountered the leakage of the leakage circuit breaker, and jumping from time to time will make people very upset and helpless. The following analysis of the reason why the leakage switch often trips.

1. Improper use of leakage circuit breaker causes tripping

Analysis of the cause: The three-pole leakage circuit breaker is used in the three-phase four-wire circuit. Since the normal working current in the neutral line does not pass through the leakage current transformer, it will trip as long as the single-phase load leakage circuit breaker is started.

Solution: The three-phase four-wire circuit must use a four-pole leakage circuit breaker.

2. Tripping caused by grounding of the neutral line on the load side of the leakage circuit breaker

Analysis of the cause: The ground wire of the load side of the leakage circuit breaker is grounded, causing the normal working current to trip to the ground through the grounding point.

Solution: The grounding wire can be connected to the zero line of the leakage circuit breaker power supply.

3. Leakage current and wire-to-ground capacitor current trip

Analysis of the cause: The wire allowance on the load side is laid on the ground for a long time, and there is a large capacitance current to the ground. The load side wire is reduced due to insulation, and the earth leakage current increases.

Solution: Select an earth leakage circuit breaker with a slightly larger operating current.
