TIR Systems Receives $1.2 M in New Solid State Lighting Orders

Vancouver, BC ? TIR Systems Ltd. (TSX: TIR), a world leader in light enabling technology, today announces the receipt of several orders totaling $1.2 Million for applications featuring its specialty Solid State Lighting (SSL) products. The majority of these orders Are expected to ship during fiscal 2005.

TIR added five new products to its specification grade Solid State Lighting range with launches at Lightfair International, Las Vegas, in April this year, followed soon after with launches in Europe and Asia.

As a result of the availability of these high performance color changing products, these orders represent projects not only in Canada and the USA, but in Asia and Europe. The installations range in application from entertainment complexes such as theatres and casinos to traditional architectural use on Buildings and bridges.
