Benefiting from the new round of subsidy Taiwan LED companies optimistic about Q4 performance

The LED packaging industry confirmed that the six mainland power plants have received a new wave of energy-saving appliances subsidies, and have notified manufacturers in Taiwan to prepare production capacity. LED TV backlight manufacturers have determined that the fourth quarter results will be better than the third quarter, and are expected to continue. By the first quarter of next year, there should be no off-season in the next two seasons, which is obviously different from the traditional season in the past.

Liu Bangyan, general manager of Everlight's production business, pointed out that the orders received by Everlight in October and November were not bad, and the fourth quarter was similar to the third quarter of the new high. Wu Qinghui, chairman of Dongbei Optoelectronics, confirmed that Dongbei’s performance will fall to the end in September, and there will be double-digit growth in the fourth quarter.


Directly benefited from the LED factory in addition to Yiguang, Dongbei, and the direct-down LED TV shipments of Ronda and Yiquan, as well as LED epi-plating factory, such as crystal, electric, and new century.

According to the LED packaging manufacturer, a new wave of home appliance subsidies will be launched in the mainland. It has been confirmed that major manufacturers such as TCL, Hisense, Chuangwei, Konka and Changhong have received official documents from the government. Energy-saving TV will be subsidized and the supplier has been notified to stock up.

Wu Qinghui said that this wave of subsidies is directly subsidized to the manufacturer, so the price of LEDTV in the terminal will decline, which will stimulate the purchasing power of consumers. Dongbei also accepts the customer's request to ship this week, so it can be determined. The performance of Dongbei will fall to the end in September, and it will have better performance from October.

Dongbei spokesman Weng Congzhi said that in the past, Dongbei’s performance in the fourth quarter will fall by about 15% on average, but in the fourth quarter of this year, the off-season will not be weak, and there will be double-digit growth. From the current orders, this one will continue to boom until the next season.
