The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have recently published the “Disposal Catalogue of Waste Electrical and Electronic Products (First Batch)” (hereinafter referred to as the “Catalogue”). Starting from January 1, next year, the above five types of products will be recycled according to relevant regulations. The State will The establishment of a waste electrical and electronic product processing fund for the recovery and processing of subsidies.

People are more inclined to stimulate domestic demand. For the public, the next five categories of home appliance recycling will be clearly marked, and the public will eliminate old appliances through formal channels instead of “collecting waste”.

Yesterday, Xu Kaihua, vice president of the China Recycling Resource Recycling Association, said in an interview with reporters that at present, China's home appliance recycling channels are confusing, and the implementation of the “Regulations” will standardize the home appliance recycling market, crack down on illegal acquisitions, and eventually achieve the goal of protecting the environment.

The delivery of old household appliances is subsidized. The Development and Reform Commission said that due to the large investment, long payback period, and poor economic returns of the dismantling and disposal of used household appliances, the state has decided to support relevant enterprises. The Ministry of Finance is currently working with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission, and other departments to study fund management measures. Based on a comprehensive consideration of the interests of all parties, the Ministry of Finance will formulate specific collection and subsidy standards as well as subsidies that can effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of enterprises.

Yesterday, people in the industry also stated that before the official implementation of the policy, an open tender will be held, and the state will give a certain amount of subsidies to delivery parties and recyclers of home appliances.

It is understood that in the 1980s and 1990s, a large number of household appliances entered the family, which has now entered the peak of retirement.
