On June 1st, from the provincial power company, the first UHV transmission line in China, the “Southeast-Nanyang-Jingmen 1000kV UHV AC pilot demonstration project†has been operating safely for 29 months since its operation. Social benefits are highlighted.
The project began construction at the end of 2006 and was officially put into commercial operation on January 6, 2009. It achieved the highest operating voltage level in the world, the largest transmission capacity, and represents the highest level of international power transmission and transformation, and has a history of electric power development in China and the world. Milestones. At the same time, it also indicates that China has made major breakthroughs in the long-distance, high-capacity, low-loss UHV power transmission core technologies and equipment localization.
It is reported that the completion of this project has greatly enhanced the power exchange and resource allocation capabilities between North China and Central China Power Grids, and in particular transformed Shanxi's abundant coal resources into electric energy, and realized the "coal transmission and power transmission simultaneously." As of the end of April, the project has cumulatively delivered 23.4 billion kWh, of which Huabei Thermal Power delivered central China 15.5 billion kWh, instead of transporting 5 million tons of standard coal; Huazhong Hydropower sent 7.9 billion kWh to North China, saving 2.55 million tons of standard coal and reducing 6.94 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions. According to actual calculations, the transmission loss rate of the 1000 kV line is only 1.7%, which is about 1/3 of the 500 kV line, and the energy saving and consumption reducing effect is very significant.
