LED lighting efficiency improvement, yield improvement, wafer and equipment upgrades, package scale and technological innovation, and the entire industry chain compression profit margin are the main factors driving the price reduction of LED products.
Taking the 60581ç› LED street lamps that have been reconstructed in Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Huizhou and other areas as an example, the electricity load and electricity bill for street lamps before and after renovation were reduced from 18,000 kW and 65.10 million yuan to 0.88 KW and 31.66 million yuan respectively. In recent years, as a province of L ED industry, Guangdong Province has entered the fast lane of development, showing a “blowout†effect. According to the planning of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period in Guangdong Province, we will continue to expand the scale of the energy-saving renovation demonstration project, and explore the multi-participation, active new model of LED street lamp energy-saving engineering business, in three years or so in Guangdong Province. Pushing 2 million LED street lights and 20 million LED indoor lighting products, driving the penetration rate of indoor LED lighting in the province to more than 30%, creating a world-class integrated demonstration area for LED lighting products.
