Cree launches high-voltage LED bulbs more efficiently
CREE has expanded its lighting-grade LED product line to the high-voltage LED field and introduced new XLamp MX-6S and MX-3S LEDs to the market. Designed for space-constrained LED and LED bulbs, these two products feature a new high-voltage structure for more efficient power and thermal systems. The XLamp MX-6S and MX-3S LEDs are the same size as the XLamp MX-6 and MX-3 LEDs.
The MX-6S has two color temperatures. When the input current is 60mA (20V), the luminous flux is 139lm. At this time, the color temperature is 6000K, and the luminous flux is 114lm, CCT=3000K. The MX-3S has a luminous flux of 122 lm (6000 K) at 115 mA/10.7 V input, and a luminous flux of 100 lm at CCT = 3000 K. According to CREE, MX Series LEDs provide high-quality LEDs with illumination-grade performance, including high reliability, high efficiency, and industry-leading color consistency.
CREE's marketing director Paul Thieken said, "These new XLamp LED products can help LED luminaire manufacturers create more efficient and economical designs, such as A-19 bulbs or GU10 lamps."
