Oculus Venues brings the stadium experience to the Oculus Go and Gear VR.

Today, Oculus launches Oculus Venues, a one-stop live entertainment venue that includes concerts, sporting events, stand-up comedy, movies, and more, with Oculus Go and Samsung Gear VR. Oculus Venues can provide viewers with live viewing.

The app was announced during the Oculus Connect 4 last year and reappeared during the Facebook Developers Conference (F8). It not only allows viewers to watch live events, but also has some social features, such as contacting family and friends, and watching shows or competitions together.

For many of these activities, Oculus will work with the professional broadcaster NextVR. The company recently launched the HTC Vive app, which will present content such as Gotham Comedy Live in New York City and the American Professional Baseball League.
