(Original title: Gigabyte Aorus 1080 Ti Cooled Water Version: Seven Output Interfaces Only for VR)
The game of Kawang GTX 1080 Ti is entering a new stage. Each one has begun to pay more attention to water cooling. Gigabyte recently announced two new products, all of which belong to its top-level Aorus eagles. The models are Aurus GeForce GTX. 1080 Ti Waterforce Xtreme Edition 11G, AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition 11G (the name can't be shorter).
Among them, the former adopts an integrated full-closed water cooling scheme, the water-cooled head covers only the GPU core, and then extends out of the heat pipe and cooling pad covers the power supply circuit and memory, and there is a metal backplane, external 120 mm cold row, length and width size is 267×123 × 36 mm, double slot.
The latter is an open, full-coverage water-cooled head that takes care of the entire PCB. The length, width, and thickness are 267 × 149 × 28 mm and are double-slot.
The PCB design and specifications of the two are exactly the same. Both have 12+2 phase power supply and dual 8-pin support. The game mode core frequency is 1607/1721MHz and the memory frequency is 11232MHz. In overclocking mode, it can reach 1632/1746MHz and 11448MHz.
The output interface is also very interesting, especially VR Link, equipped with a DVI, three DisplayPort 1.4 and three HDMI 2.0b (back a front two), but due to Pascal architecture restrictions, can only use up to four of them at a time.
In VR Link standard mode, all back interfaces are used, while in VR Link VR mode, all three HDMI and three DisplayPorts are used.
Gigabyte will host the Aorus brand new product conference on July 6. More details will be announced, including price.
