Hunan: The protection of power facilities is integrated into comprehensive management
The Hunan Provincial Economic Commission and the Provincial High Court jointly issued the "Opinions on Strengthening the Protection of Power Facilities in the Province" recently, which marked the formal inclusion of the protection of power facilities in the province's comprehensive management of public security.
The "Opinions" clarify that no unit or individual may engage in acts that endanger power generation facilities, substation facilities, power line facilities and related auxiliary facilities, and may not engage in acts that endanger the construction of electric power facilities. If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
