New breakthrough in Japanese LED bulbs: widening range of radiation (Figure)
Tamura, Japan has developed a new technology for LED bulbs that have the same range of illumination as incandescent bulbs. Features that use the new technology are also illuminating in the Socket section, leaving the ceiling section no longer dim. The company's main goal is to not change the lighting impression even if it is replaced by an LED bulb. For the business use of store lighting in Japan and abroad, we will actively launch the product of the exhibit. The new product name is TamuLight, which is divided into 7W (9,800 yen) and 10W (14,800 yen). And in the same way as incandescent bulbs, there are two options for twilight and bulb color, which will be available for sale in January 2009.
The characteristic of the LED bulb is that it takes about 40,000 hours from the time of purchase to 70%, which is 40 times that of an incandescent bulb, and consumes about 10% of the incandescent bulb. However, the disadvantage is that it can only be illuminated in a specific direction, and the direction of the Socket on the back side cannot be illuminated, so if the LED bulb is replaced, the ceiling will be darkened. The maximum diameter of the large light-diffusing Cover of Tamura's production makes it have an expanding effect, and the light produces a chaotic reflection inside, so that it not only in the horizontal direction, but also has a clear illuminating effect in the Socket direction. The pricing of the new products will be the same as that of the previous products, and it is expected to meet the business needs of the store that emphasizes the overall brightness of the room.
