Shanxi Jincheng LED energy-saving renovation welcomes the first national low-carbon day
In recent years, LED energy-saving lighting in Jincheng has developed rapidly, and the scale of the market is gradually growing. At present, more than 60% of the streets in Jincheng are equipped with LED street lights, and more than 90% of the landscape lighting also uses LED lighting to better utilize energy and promote energy efficient lighting.
It is reported that more than 6,000 lighting fixtures used in the government agencies of Jincheng City are mostly incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps, and the annual lighting consumption is as high as 710,000 degrees. Now that all of them have been replaced with energy-saving and environmentally-friendly LED lighting fixtures, the annual power consumption has dropped significantly to 230,000 kWh, saving electricity costs by more than 390,000 yuan, effectively reducing the administrative costs of the government. In this year alone, it can reduce power consumption by more than 480,000 degrees, save 192 tons of coal, reduce carbon dioxide by more than 400 tons, and reduce carbon emissions by more than 130 tons.
If the city's road lighting fixtures all use LED lighting, roughly calculated, the annual savings of about 4.68 million kWh, corresponding to save 1872 tons of standard coal, while reducing pollution emissions of 1273 tons of carbon dust, 4665 tons of carbon dioxide, 140 tons Sulfur dioxide, 70 tons of nitrogen oxides.
