Taiwanese technology makers go to the United States to find talent
Based on the rapid expansion of Taiwan's technology industry, technical talents in the fields of LED and solar energy are in short supply. Taiwanese electronics manufacturers, colleges and universities and government agencies are forming a delegation. They plan to go to Boston, Massachusetts, in September to launch a talent recruitment campaign. More than 1,000 US overseas Chinese are employed to fill the gaps in science, technology, research and education in Taiwan, mainland China or the United States.
It is understood that the participants in the recruitment activities include TSMC, Foxconn, MediaTek, Delta, and New Chimei, as well as national successful universities, Jiaotong University, Yangming University, and China Medical University.
