Changchun Yinghua Institute and Xinli Light Source's first innovative AC LED technology

The research team led by Zhang Hongjie and Li Chengyu, researcher of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Sichuan Xinli Light Source, a member of the G20-LED Summit, jointly launched a new AC LED technology, “New Generation AC-LED Lighting Technology”. Recently, the technology won the 2012 British Engineering and Technology Association "Energy Innovation" and "Building Environment" two nominations.

The research results of Changchun Yinghua Institute innovatively invented rare earth LED luminescent materials with adjustable luminescence lifetime and matching with AC power supply frequency. As the core, the new generation of AC LED white light illumination technology with independent intellectual property rights in China. It solves the worldwide problem of AC LED strobe. Compared with traditional DC power-driven LEDs, this technology product has the advantages of good heat dissipation, high energy conversion efficiency, small size, etc., which can increase the lifespan by more than 1 time, and reduce energy consumption and cost by 15% and 20% respectively.

At present, the technology has been put into production, and has produced four major categories of lamps, downlights, tube lamps and spotlights, and has been successfully applied in homes, subways, shopping malls, hospitals and other places. The products have passed the US UL and EU CE certification and are sold to many foreign countries. The company has formed a production capacity of 10 million sets per year. In 2012 alone, the output value was more than 150 million yuan, and the profit and tax was nearly 40 million yuan.
