My regrets about not trying the "Driveclub" VR version at the Cologne International Game Show are beyond words. First of all, "Driveclub" has always been my favorite game on the PS4. In the VR version of "Driveclub", almost every good part of the original game has gone a little further. I held the steering wheel and I was almost completely immersed in driving. The momentary dullness was not allowed. I also need to pay attention to the steering wheel at all times, keeping a close eye on the car behind me, avoiding the dense roadblocks on the circuit of Scotland's Montenegrin Circuit, and then coming to a close collision with other cars... I am really paralyzed.
Need to be reminded that, in the VR version of "Driveclub" comes with corner deceleration function, but turning this feature off to hard drive may be worth a try. If you're driving an ultra-fast car like the Huayra or Venom GT to play the fast track... be sure to pay attention to safety.
Racing games and space simulation games are perhaps the most adaptable VR game types to date. Although I personally admire Farpoint's first-person shooter The Assembly, it is undeniable that in the abstract world of the game, it is still unable to achieve natural fluency, that is, the brain can "digest" these images. At this point, the VR version of "Driveclub" does a good job.
Although the VR version of "Driveclub" is not very outstanding on the PlayStation VR head, and its 1080p video display format can see a lot of pixels if you look closely. However, it is undeniable that once the game is started, excellent results and high realism will immediately pull you into the game world and rush at the car. Those jealousy will be left behind by you. What you think in your mind is just beyond the front. The car continues to race on the track.
"Driveclub" may be an old game, and its original developers have even closed down, but the VR version of "Driveclub" will be doomed and is expected to become the key promotion game of PlayStation VR.
