In the past few years, I have heard countless influential marketing projects peddling the benefits of blockchain. But I don’t believe it. I really like blockchain-based projects. I think these projects will be very exciting in the future, but I want to explore in depth why we will not see a major change in the way influencer marketing occurs in the short term.
For marketing companies implementing blockchain solutions, the main controversy seems to revolve around the following three points:
·A utility token to incentivize a distributed content review network.
A database for storing content and verifying its uniqueness.
· A mark used for borderless payments and small transactions.
Utility tokens provide users with access to products or services. When a contractor (creator) publishes content for review, one's network can verify whether the content meets brand specifications. They can fix spelling errors and even make sure that the content does not mention competitors. In return, they will get a symbolic reward, and the content will be posted on social media.
We work with a wide range of corporate clients from different industries, and each of them wants to see the content before publishing. They definitely don't want a human network to approve content and automatically process payments. In my opinion, all this is broken in the approval process because it requires a team of brand marketers to approve and give feedback on all content.
Storing media content on the blockchain also seems to be a hot topic. The model built around storage, verifying uniqueness and copyright is complicated and has no direct benefits. If there are no inherent advantages, then why not use something like Amazon Web Services? Even companies like cryptocurrency will store images on S3 (a cloud computing web service provided by Amazon Web Services), and use the cryptocurrency ID to locate the appropriate image. Technically, you can store the image on IPFS and store the metadata on the blockchain to decentralize its power, but I want to know why you want to do this. There are already technical barriers to this, and it is not worth it, because there are not many benefits.
Payment is the last point, and here, the attention of cryptocurrency influencer marketing companies is mainly focused on this point. The general themes are trust, transparency, and speed, as they involve handling transactions. However, I think that cryptocurrency complicates this process and is unnecessary. For many people (including influential people), cryptocurrency is still foreign, and the concept of digital currency is still in its infancy, not to mention you have to let them build a wallet.
Therefore, when I see influential marketing solutions that convert fiat currency into digital currency to pay for their hard work, all I see is complexity.
Finally, I want to talk about borderless payments and small transactions. Cryptocurrency is very helpful for this, but again, there are better solutions, with incredible risk departments and documentation to achieve. Stripe is the standard for online payments and supports 25 countries, but it also has a wide range of payment solutions, including FastSpring and Braintree. On the other hand, before adopting new solutions to reduce the transaction costs of their respective networks, small transactions are still very expensive.
The key point to understand is that in the field of influencer marketing, blockchain technology can be successfully implemented, but it does not seem to have obvious benefits. With the influx of ICOs, you never know if companies are really trying to adopt blockchain solutions, or because they just need funds, nothing more.

In short, Dashcoin Dash is a variant of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency that runs on the same blockchain network. Dashi, which combines the words "digital" and "cash," has become one of the most widely watched counterfeit coins in recent months. Originally released as "XCoin", it was later changed to "Darkcoin" and later Dash.
