Due to site expansion, air consumption has soared, and low-power air compressors are far from being able to meet the demand for on-site air consumption. Therefore, the customer selected a motor with a power of 315KW to drive the air compressor according to the actual situation. Air compression is provided on site. Because the motor power is too large, the power frequency start is difficult to achieve; the soft start device is used, and the speed cannot be adjusted, and the excess air volume can only be released from the pressure relief valve, which causes a waste of energy. Based on the above factors, the customer finally chose our company's EN500 series inverter to make the application and transformation of the air compressor for the constant pressure air supply program.

The 4-20mA pressure transmitter is selected on site to provide feedback signals for our inverter to form a constant pressure air supply closed-loop control system; the motor is changed to a variable frequency start, which not only reduces the impact of the large current generated during startup on the grid, but also According to the pressure change of the pressure tank, the signal is fed back to the frequency converter, and the frequency converter changes the frequency continuously through the pressure change to keep the pressure constant, so as to achieve the effect of energy saving.
