Bulldozer processor has just performed for the first time, there is a new material exposed on the Internet, indicating that AMD intends to launch the second wave of products at the end of this year, the first models will also quickly withdraw from the market.

In fact, there was news before that AMD was ready to launch the second wave of bulldozer processors at the end of the year, but the specific models were not confirmed.

According to the new roadmap, the first batch of bulldozer processors will be released at the beginning of the third quarter. The four models are FX-8150, FX-8100, FX-6100, and FX-4100, of which the first two are eight cores. The latter two models are six-core and four-core, all have up to 8MB of L3 cache, support Turbo Core dynamic acceleration technology, support DDR3-1866 memory, thermal design power consumption of the first 125W, and the remaining 95W.

By the middle of the fourth quarter (November?), the next four upgrade models will be born, called FX-8170, FX-8120, FX-6120, and FX-4120. It can be expected that their main mission is to increase the operating frequency while keeping other parameters including thermal design power consumption constant.

The first four models have very short life spans and will no longer accept orders from next year.
