Global LED production value will increase by 25% annually in 2011-2013
According to a recent research report by DigiTimes, benefiting from the increased demand in the LED TV market, the LED output value in 2010 increased by 55.6% compared with last year. It is estimated that the global LED output value will reach 8.25 billion US dollars in 2010. The company further expects LED TV shipments to increase 10 times year-on-year in 2010.
The company said that thanks to the rise of LED TV and the gradual replacement of traditional lighting technology by LED lighting, global LED production will increase by more than 25% per year from 2011 to 2013.
