Fuxing Group has been producing lighting for more than 20 years. In 2009, the company entered the LED industry and targeted the high-end market. At the beginning of this year, the company's products were broken, that is, the harvest of one month's orders exceeded the good performance of last year. Fuxing has already received a number of high-end customer decorative lighting projects such as government projects and five-star hotels, as well as high-end brands from Europe and Japan.

Improve the LED industry research and development atmosphere
Chen Gang has worked in Silicon Valley for more than 20 years. Six years ago, he founded Xingyi Technology Co., Ltd. in Shengshan Town, Zhongshan, China, mainly producing LED related products. At the beginning, he was optimistic about Zhongshan's business and entrepreneurial environment. Now he is negotiating with Zhongshan Science and Technology Department, and hopes to jointly set up R&D technical service institutions and establish technical cooperation with more enterprises in Zhongshan.
Reporter: What do you think of the current status of Zhongshan LED industry?
Chen Gang: Zhongshan has the name of the lamp industry and has the market advantage of developing the LED industry. However, I did not choose to build a factory in Guzhen. I wanted to distinguish it from the products of Guzhen. Some enterprises in Guzhen liked plagiarism and lacked research and development capabilities in the field of new light sources.
I think that Zhongshan's LED products are currently tangible and have no essence. The so-called essence, not only refers to the technical content, we have to add the soul of the product, that is, to truly understand the advanced nature of LED technology and its rational application.
Reporter: How do you see the layout of Zhongshan LED industry?
Chen Gang: Zhongshan develops LED industry, Guzhen has market advantage, and Xiaolan has technological research and development advantages. I personally think that although there are hundreds of LED companies in Guzhen, there are very few real independent research and development capabilities. In terms of research and development, Xiaolan Town and Torch Zone will have advantages in the future. There is a weaker place in the Zhongshan LED industry, which is the lack of academic research atmosphere.
The history of LED industry development is not long. It has only been booming in recent years, and many things have been misled. In the future, there will definitely be a reshuffle period. For example, is LED suitable for street lighting? According to my personal research, LED is not the most ideal for energy saving in street lighting. It depends on the area used. It is better in the north than in the south. .
LEDs are good things, but they are not suitable for any product anywhere, such as in a refrigerator for lighting, but not for home lighting.
Therefore, it is necessary to have a correct plan in product development and application.
Reporter: How do you think Zhongshan attracts LED talents?
Chen Gang: The development of emerging industries does require a large number of talents. The advantage of attracting talents in Zhongshan is not obvious, but it is not necessary to emphasize the introduction of talents. It can establish R&D cooperation with industry elites or leading institutions, and explore more cooperation mechanisms.
