BenQ released the world's first LED backlight VA LCD
BenQ recently released the world's first LED-backlit LCD display based on VA panel. The newly released LED-backlit VA liquid crystal display includes three series of EW and VW series: 24 inch EW2420, 24 inch VW2420 and 21.5 inch VW2220.
According to BenQ, the LED-backlit VA liquid crystal panel can display a richer color display, ultra-high contrast, and its bright spot-free (ZBD) true black panel technology minimizes light leakage and blackness color display is more accurate. The VW series follows BenQ's IF award-winning design, while the EW series offers a rich input and output interface.
These three LCDs are equipped with 16:9 full HD LED backlight VA LCD panel, support 178 degree wide viewing angle, 8-bit color input, can display 16.7 million colors, using BenQ exclusive Senseye Human Vision image quality enhancement technology, 3000:1 Native contrast, with six preset modes for games, movies, sRGB, standards, photos, and eco.
The VW series are equipped with DVI and D-Sub interfaces, and the VW LCD with H in the model will also provide HDMI 1.3 interface and headphone jack. In contrast, the EW series is equipped with a rich interface configuration: DVI-D, HDMI X 2, D-Sub, USB X 4, Line-in audio line interface and headphone jack, built-in 2 X 1.5W speakers.
The 24-inch VW2420(H) and EW2420 will be first launched in Taiwan in mid-July and will be launched globally in mid-August; the VW2220(H) will be available in November, and the prices of these three LCDs have not yet been disclosed.
