The bq24040 series devices are highly integrated lithium-ion battery linear chargers for space-constrained portable applications. The device operates either from a USB port or an AC adapter. High input voltage range input overvoltage protection supports low cost unregulated adapters.
The bq24040 has a single output power and the battery is charged. The system load, as long as the average load of the system does not keep the battery fully charged, the safety timer can be placed in parallel with the battery in 10 hours.
