The audio control system is more and more important in the aircraft communication system. The reliability of the audio control system directly affects the flight safety. The Audio Control Box (ACP) is the core component of the audio control system and its reliability is directly related to the reliability of the entire communication system. Therefore, ACP maintenance testing is the key to ensuring that the entire audio control system is working properly.
At present, most of the models in use in China are Boeing and Airbus models. Boeing aircraft equipped with ACP mostly 5145-1 series, because of its long equipment, related maintenance and testing technical data, testing equipment, domestic aviation parts repair factory has 5145-1 series ACP more mature maintenance testing technology. However, the Airbus models purchased in recent years mostly use the ACP2788 series ACP produced by COBHAM. The relevant maintenance testing equipment and technical data are provided by the OEM. The equipment is expensive and the data is limited. Therefore, it is difficult to guarantee the maintenance inspection level in China.
The number of Airbus models in China is increasing. The maintenance and inspection volume of 2788 series ACP is also increasing year by year. It is of practical significance to study how to improve the maintenance reliability of ACP and reduce maintenance costs. The development of the ACP2788 test bench is an effective way to solve this problem. The successful development of the test bench can not only reduce the ACP delivery costs, reduce the maintenance period, but also provide a strong guarantee for the normal operation of the flight.
2. ACP2788 function introduction Briefing
The appearance of the ACP2788 is shown in Figure 1. It is an important part of the aircraft communication system for the switching and control of aircraft audio signals. It manages and controls almost all audio signals to and from the unit with the AMU. III. Design and production of ACP2788 test bench
ACP 2 7 8 8 The internal communication between itself and the external communication with AMU adopts ARINC429 bus specification. The test bench for ACP 2 7 8 8 control box is to obtain the data of ACP 2 7 8 8 interaction with external system. . Therefore, the test bench must be able to send audio control parameters to the ACP2788 via the ARINC429 bus, as well as receive audio control parameters sent by the ACP2788. How to ensure the accuracy of the 429 data sent and received and the identification and decoding of data parameters is the key to the design of the test bench.
Through the study of ACP2788's CMM23-51-22 manual and ARINC429 specification, the ARINC429 data used for external communication between ACP2788 and AMU is shown in Figure 2.
By decoding the data transmitted by ACP2788, the design idea of ​​ACP test bench can be obtained: Aeroflex T1200B (429 tester) is used as the core device for communication with ACP2788. Through the switch and connection on the test bench, T1200B and quilt are completed. Data transmission and decoding and decoding between ACP2788 are measured.
As shown in Figure 3, the test bench is a bridge between the T1200B and the ACP2788. Its main function is to provide various power supplies, discrete control signals, status indication signals, and signal switching for the ACP2788. The test bench can be designed as a 3U standard chassis, front panel, rear panel, adjustable voltage module, etc., wherein the motherboard circuit of the test bench is shown in Figure 4, and the front panel is shown in Figure 5.
4. Test station use Operation
The performance of the test bench is determined according to ACP 2788 manuals CMM23-51-22 and CMM 23-51-54. After the PCB board and the front panel are manufactured by relevant manufacturers, the test bench can meet the test requirements of the manual. The tests that can be completed include: insulation resistance test, current detection, MIC channel detection, receiving channel detection, RAD/INT button detection, VOICE / RESET button detection, 429 signal detection, light detection, etc. Figure 6 shows the actual use scenario of the test bench.
V. Summary of Summary
This article describes a production solution for the ACP2788 test bench and has produced the product. The product has undergone several trial and repair work to prove that it can meet the test requirements of the manual. At present, Shenzhen Airlines has applied for the ACP2788 series of audio control box repair capabilities, and is now waiting for the Bureau to review the capability.
